National Automotive Technology Competition - On Car Challenge

1E Hall. Level 1, Jacob K. Javits Convention Cente

Each two-person student team must diagnose and repair a number of pre-assigned problems under a car's hood within an allotted amount of time. Each "bug" correctly repaired is worth a number of points, depending on the level of difficulty. The On-Car Challenge will account for 40% of the total team score

Registration is required. To register visit Amanda Metzger at the New England Institute of Technology’s Career Fair Booth in the 1E Hall. The Guided Bus Tour of New York City starts in front of the Javits Center at 3:00 pm. The tour will end at the Crowne Plaza Times Square .

Students will receive official competition shirts, hats, and other gifts, compliments of GNYADA and competition sponsors. Students get to meet and have some fun. Dress casual – students often wear school or sponsor sweaters or jackets.
Teachers will be briefed on what to expect at the Competition.
